Oakleys team played with 8 players v a team with 9 players. Oaks had 4 defenders on him whole match. Played well and scored the equaliser. 2-2.

Benson Hawks travelled to League Champions (and currently 2nd in Div 1) Bushey & Oxhey Bears with the management expecting the worst – but how wrong were they?! Fortunately, the players had greater confidence… However, Bushey scored within 3 minutes but the Hawks boys never dropped their heads and were always in the game and sure enough a brilliantly worked goal saw them draw level . Some great football was being played that saw the scores 2-1 …..2-2…..3-2…. 3-3 and then 3-4 to Hawks at the break. 2nd half got under way and it was pretty much the same until one of the Hawks players got injured which affected the balance of the team and they started to lose ground… However, the Hawks keeper was on fire – as was the crossbar… and with 3 minutes left to play the miracle looked on. Sadly it wasn’t to be as two quick goals from the home team saw them win 5-4. But all in all a great effort – WELL DONE !!! Oakley They won 7-0. Oaks hit bar twice and got 4 assists. All that after being rested after 4-0 and put back on at left back.
