Last but not least, Jaguars recorded their first ever victory in an extremely entertaining match against Berko White. It did not start well when Berko scored a great goal after just a couple of minutes but Jaguars held their nerve and eventually equalised with a fine finish. Joy was unconfined a few minutes later when they scrambled a second – only for Berko to strike back. Undeterred the Jags just went down the other end and scored two more – leaving it 4-2 at the break. Jags continued their hitherto successful tactics of soaking up the pressure before destroying Berko on the break – with a 5th soon converted. But the drama wasn’t over as Berko scored two quick goals to leave the Jaguars parents and coaching staff anxiously chewing nails for the last 10 minutes. But, through resolute defending and some fine goalkeeping, Jags survived the storm to spark carnival scenes around Pitch 2!
